BioActive Vitamins Layering Treatment
BioActive Vitamins Layering Treatment
DETAILS
Optional with the Alginate mask. Vitamin layering involves applying one or more vitamin-rich serums after intensive skin treatments such as peels and microneedling. Under the alginate mask, the skin will derive maximum benefit from this vitamin boost with a layered approach, as the skin is particularly receptive to nutrients and active ingredients at that time. There are three serum combination options.
OPERATION
The alginate mask plays a crucial role in the recovery process by cooling and soothing the skin after the treatment, while simultaneously creating an occlusive (sealing and moisture-retaining) layer that maximizes the absorption of the vitamin serums. Thanks to the mask's hydrating properties, it also helps to lock moisture into the skin, allowing the serums to work more effectively. The combination of vitamin layering with an alginate mask therefore ensures not only deeper penetration and better absorption of the active ingredients, but also optimized healing and skin rejuvenation. This technique is particularly suitable after intensive skin treatments, as it accelerates recovery time and improves the overall health and radiance of the skin.
By applying vitamin layering under an alginate mask, the active ingredients can penetrate the skin better. This yields several benefits:- Layered action: The vitamins each have unique properties, from antioxidation to hydration and repair of the skin barrier.
- Synergy: Some vitamins work synergistically and enhance each other's effect when applied in layers.
INGREDIENTS
We offer three options to choose from. These can be combined to supplement or enhance the effect of the ingredients:
-
20% Vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid): A powerful antioxidant that helps neutralize free radicals, protects the skin against UV damage, stimulates collagen production, and reduces hyperpigmentation.
-
20% Niacinamide (Vitamin B3): Strengthens the skin barrier and reduces redness and hyperpigmentation. Furthermore, it regulates sebum production and has anti-inflammatory properties.
-
Combination of 20% Vitamin C and 20% Niacinamide: Despite previous concerns regarding the combination of these two vitamins, recent scientific research shows that when correctly formulated, they can be used together for an enhanced effect on skin rejuvenation and repair. This includes improved skin texture, reduced lines and wrinkles, and a more even skin tone.
