BioActive Vitamins Layering Treatment

Optional with the Alginate mask. Vitamin layering is the application of one or several vitamin-rich serums after intensive skin treatments such as peelings and microneedling. Under the alginate mask, the skin will get maximum benefit from this vitamin boost with a layered approach, because the skin is then particularly receptive to nutrients and active ingredients. There are three serum combination options.

1. 20% Vitamin C serum
2. 20% Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) serum
3. Combination of 20% Vitamin C and 20% Niacinamide (Vitamin B3) serums

The alginate mask plays a crucial role in the recovery process by cooling and soothing the skin after treatment, while at the same time providing an occlusive (sealing and moisture-retaining) layer that maximizes the absorption of the vitamin serums. Due to the moisturizing properties of the mask, it also helps to lock moisture into the skin, making the serums work more effectively. The combination of vitamin layering with an alginate mask not only ensures deeper penetration and better absorption of the active ingredients, but also ensures optimized healing and rejuvenation of the skin. This technique is particularly suitable after intensive skin treatments. Because it speeds up recovery time and improves the overall health and appearance of the skin.

By applying vitamin layering under an alginate mask, the active ingredients can penetrate the skin better. This provides several advantages:

We offer three options to choose from. These can be combined to supplement or strengthen the effect of the ingredients:

1. 20% Vitamin C (L-ascorbic acid): A powerful antioxidant that helps neutralize free radicals, protects skin from UV damage, stimulates collagen production, and reduces hyperpigmentation.

2. 20% Niacinamide (Vitamin B3): Strengthens the skin barrier and reduces redness and hyperpigmentation. It also regulates sebum production and has anti-inflammatory properties.

3. Combination of 20% Vitamin C and 20% Niacinamide: Despite previous concerns about the combination of these two vitamins, recent scientific research shows that when formulated correctly, they can be used together for an enhanced effect on skin rejuvenation and repair. This includes improved skin texture, reduced lines, wrinkles and a more even skin tone.
