Intake and Examination after Screening for Direct Access Skin Therapy
The Consultation
Medicadermis offers a combination of medical and cosmetic skincare, tailored to your individual needs and goals. Have you seen a great treatment you are interested in? Or are you not yet sure exactly what suits you? For this appointment, a no-show deposit of €20 asked The amount will be deducted from your next treatment.
The consultation lasts approximately 20 to 45 minutes, depending on your needs. During this intake, we discuss your wishes and examine your skin condition. To conclude, we decide together which treatment is most suitable for your goals, naturally tailored to your skin condition. You can, of course, also mention any concerns you may have. After all, the intake interview is partly intended to identify underlying health issues. Skin conditions can occur in isolation, but can also be part of a broader health issue. In such cases, we will refer you back to your GP. This way, you can take the right next step with peace of mind.
What steps does the consultation consist of?
- Medical history: We discuss your request for help, goals, and medical history. This gives you a realistic picture of what to expect.
- Research: The skin is carefully assessed for condition and possible skin conditions. Based on this, we determine the treatment options.
- Analysis: We discuss potential risks and alternatives. The outcome is incorporated into a treatment plan.
- Treatment plan: A personal plan without commercial obligation, but with clear instructions for optimal skin improvement. Together, we agree on the approach and responsibilities.
Test shot and thinking time
For certain treatments, we use a test shot during the intake to assess the skin reaction. This helps you and the skin therapist make an informed decision.
cooling-off period
After the consultation, you can take your time to consider whether you wish to proceed with the treatment plan. We usually schedule an appointment for two weeks later. You can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours in advance. Minor treatments can sometimes take place immediately — provided it is safe and appropriate.
Preparation
Sometimes you receive specific instructions for preparation, such as avoiding the sun or certain products. This will be discussed and included in your treatment plan.
