These can be found, for example, under the brand Leukoflex or 3M as adhesive dressings and are also available at the pharmacy. Ideally, you should apply the cream one hour before the treatment so that the full numbing effect is achieved.
Although the treatment itself is brief and can in principle be performed without anesthesia, the use of lidocaine cream offers an extra layer of comfort, especially for sensitive areas. By taking this preparatory step, you help minimize any potential discomfort during the procedure.
