The Comfort Treatment for acne is an additional option to acne therapy, specifically developed for clients with oily skin who want their treatment to be as comfortable as possible. This treatment is offered separately, allowing you to choose what best suits your skin and preferences.
What does the Comfort Treatment entail?
The Comfort Treatment consists of two additional techniques that make acne therapy more pleasant and promote skin recovery. This treatment falls not covered by healthcare reimbursement and is listed separately on the invoice (code PCL999).
- Desincrustation: A mild galvanic current combined with an alkaline serum opens the pores and softens the sebum. As a result, cleansing is less painful and more effective.
- High-frequency therapy: Immediately after cleansing, I use a high-frequency device in combination with an antibacterial serum. This combination soothes the skin, reduces redness, and supports the healing process.
The Comfort Treatment costs €20 and is a valuable addition for those who are sensitive to pain, suffer from inflammation, or wish to optimize the recovery process.
Why choose this extra care?
Many people find acne cleansing sensitive or even painful. By applying desincrustation beforehand and a high-frequency antibacterial after-treatment, most clients experience less pain, a calmer complexion, and faster recovery. These techniques are medically validated but fall outside the insured portion of the treatment.
By consciously choosing the Comfort Treatment, you give your skin just that little bit of extra support, without having to compromise on effectiveness or comfort.
Practical information
The Comfort Treatment is only booked in combination with an acne treatment. You can select this option when making your appointment or indicate it during your consultation.
You will receive an itemized invoice on which the comfort section is listed separately. This section (€20) is not reimbursable by your health insurance. The rest of the treatment may be reimbursable under your supplementary insurance.
