Steps of the Treatment
- Preparation: We begin with a thorough cleansing of the skin area to be treated to remove oils and makeup.
- The Treatment: During the session, the laser is moved precisely over the PMU eyebrows. You may feel a rapid series of light 'taps', which is normal. The treatment usually does not take long, depending on the size and intensity of the PMU.
- After the Treatment: Immediately after the session, the treated area may be red and slightly swollen, and small scabs may form later. We will apply cooling to reduce discomfort, and you will receive specific aftercare instructions to promote recovery.
Pre- and Post-care

Contraindications

For optimal comfort during the treatment, your GP can prescribe lidocaine cream. You can submit a request for this to your GP and then pick it up at your pharmacy. It is important that you apply this cream at home under an occlusive dressing, as the cream needs time to take effect. These can be found, for example, under the brand Leukoflex or 3M as adhesive dressings and are also available at the pharmacy. Ideally, you should apply the cream one hour before the treatment so that the full numbing effect is achieved.
Although the treatment itself is brief and can in principle be performed without anesthesia, the use of lidocaine cream offers an extra layer of comfort, especially for sensitive areas. By taking this preparatory step, you help minimize any potential discomfort during the procedure.
