Oxygenetix Foundation – Camouflage for redness, acne and pigment spots

Oxygenetix Foundation – natural coverage for redness and discoloration

Are you looking for a foundation that makes redness, acne blemishes, or an uneven complexion less visible, without wanting a heavily made-up look? Oxygenetix Oxygenating Foundation offers buildable coverage for even, natural-looking skin.

At Medicadermis, as a skin therapist, I look not only at the color but also at the condition and sensitivity of your skin. This allows you to choose a shade and application method that suit your needs. The foundation temporarily camouflages visible color differences; it is not a treatment for acne, rosacea, pigment disorders, or scars.

Personal color advice: Unsure about the right shade or do you have sensitive skin? Feel free to contact us. We will discuss the coverage you are looking for and whether the product fits your skincare routine. Available shades and the current price are displayed with the Shopify product variants.

Do you want to learn how to professionally camouflage a noticeable color difference? Then you can medical camouflage therapy at Medicadermis be a suitable next step.

Who is Oxygenetix Foundation suitable for?

Oxygenetix can be interesting if you want to create an even complexion and camouflage visible redness, pigmentation differences, or residual spots. Color advice can also help choose a suitable foundation for acne-prone or reactive skin.

Whether a product is well tolerated varies from person to person. In cases of active irritation, contact allergy, or damaged skin, we first assess whether use is advisable.

What makes Oxygenetix different from a regular foundation?

Oxygenetix Oxygenating Foundation is developed as a foundation with buildable coverage. You can start with a thin layer and apply slightly more product locally where you want extra camouflage.

The brand positions the formula around an aloe vera base, among other things. The exact ingredients and properties may vary by version. Therefore, always check the ingredient list on the packaging, especially if you have known sensitivities.

A foundation can visually reduce discoloration, but does not demonstrably restore the skin barrier as a medical treatment and does not replace prescribed skin therapy.

How do I choose the right color?

A beautiful color match aligns with your skin's undertone and the transition to your neck. In cases of redness or pigment differences, the correct shade may turn out differently than you expect based on the color in the packaging.

Preferably test the foundation on the jawline and assess the result in daylight. Let the foundation sit on the skin for a moment before deciding. If in doubt, I am happy to help you with color advice.

How do I apply Oxygenetix Foundation?
  1. Gently cleanse your skin and apply a suitable moisturizer if necessary.
  2. Use a suitable sunscreen separately during the day and have it applied properly.
  3. Apply a small amount of foundation thinly and evenly with clean fingers, a sponge, or a brush.
  4. Carefully build up a second thin layer only in the areas where extra coverage is needed.
  5. Remove the foundation at the end of the day with a mild cleanser.

Work carefully on reactive skin and avoid vigorous rubbing or scrubbing.

Can I use Oxygenetix for acne or rosacea?

With acne, red or brown residual spots may remain visible, even after inflammation has cleared. With rosacea, persistent redness can be a reason to use foundation. Oxygenetix can temporarily make such color differences less noticeable.

No foundation is automatically suitable for every acne-prone or rosacea-prone skin. In case of active inflammation, burning, or peeling, it may be necessary to adjust or postpone use.

Can I use Oxygenetix after a peel, microneedling, or laser treatment?

That depends on the treatment and your skin's recovery. After microneedling, an intensive peel, or fractional laser treatment, the skin may be temporarily fragile or damaged. In that case, do not apply foundation on open or unhealed skin on your own initiative.

Always follow the specific aftercare instructions. Even when a manufacturer positions a product for use after cosmetic treatments, this does not mean that it is suitable immediately after every treatment.

Is Oxygenetix Foundation the same as medical camouflage therapy?

No. Oxygenetix is a cosmetic foundation product. Medical camouflage therapy is a dermatological treatment in which we assess your skin, match the color and coverage, and teach you how to camouflage a skin imperfection yourself.

Under certain conditions, reimbursement for camouflage therapy may apply under supplementary health insurance. The separate purchase of a foundation is not automatically covered.

Does Oxygenetix Foundation have sun protection?

Check the packaging of the specific Oxygenetix version for any SPF indication. For reliable daily UV protection, use a separate, suitable sunscreen, preferably SPF 30 or 50, in sufficient quantity.

Good sun protection is important, especially for pigment sensitivity and residual spots after acne.

Which version or color can I order?
