The cleanser can be used both in the morning and in the evening. For very dry, sensitive, or temporarily irritated skin, cleansing once a day may be sufficient. In the morning, you can optionally use only lukewarm water.

For removing make-up

According to the product information, this cleanser can also be used to remove eye makeup. For heavy, long-lasting, or waterproof makeup, a separate first cleansing step is often more practical. Use the BIO Enzyme Cleanser afterwards to cleanse the skin itself.

Why are these ingredients in the formula?

Papaya and pineapple extract

Papaya and pineapple are known for their naturally occurring proteolytic enzymes. These enzymes can help break down protein bonds between superficial, loose skin cells. As a result, excess skin flakes can gently shed.

This rinse-off cleanser is intended for light daily support. The product does not have the same intensity as a professional enzyme peel or chemical peel.

Glycerine

Glycerin is a humectant: an ingredient that can attract and retain water. In a cleanser, glycerin contributes to a more comfortable skin feel and helps limit the drying effects of cleansing.

Cocamidopropyl hydroxysultaine
